Al Rayyan leads the team standings with 9 points, followed by Al Sadd in second place with 7 points, then Al Duhail in third place with 6 points, Al Shamal in fourth place with 5 points, Qatar Club in fifth place with 3 points, then Al Wakrah and Al Khor in sixth and seventh places. With one point each, while Al-Ahly, Al-Arabi and Al-Gharafa do not have any points after their matches in the past three rounds were postponed due to the participation of Al-Ahly and Al-Gharafa in the 39th Arab League and Cup Champions Clubs Championship for Men’s Handball, which was recently held in Kuwait.
Al Rayyan won the General Men’s Handball League title last season 2023/2024, while Al Arabi came in second place, and Al Duhail took third place.
It is noteworthy that Al Rayyan holds the record for the number of wins in the league, having won the title 15 times, followed by Al Sadd, which won it 9 times, while Al Duhail won it 5 times, Al Ahly and Al Jaish 4 times, Al Arabi and Qatar twice, and Al Gharafa and Al Wakrah once each.
