Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl has been awarded the Haute Grandeur Hotel Excellence Award in the following categories: Best Eco-Friendly Hotel Worldwide, Best Leisure Hotel Worldwide, Best Island Hotel in the Middle East, Best Island Resort in the Middle East, Most Luxurious Suite in the Middle East – Royal Suite, Best Hotel Manager in Qatar – Ghazi Al Wahishi.
Marsa Malaz Spa also won the Haute Grandeur International Spa Excellence Award in the following categories: Best Relaxation Retreat Worldwide, Best Resort Spa in the Middle East, Best Hotel Spa in Qatar, and Best Spa Destination in Qatar.

Global experience
Ghazi Al Wahishi has over 15 years of global hospitality experience in luxury hotels. He has held leadership positions in prestigious establishments such as Hilton London Metropole, Al Bustan Rotana Dubai, and Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel. His journey with Kempinski Hotels began at the iconic Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates as Food & Beverage Manager. In 2019, he moved to The St. Regis Doha, where he started as Food & Beverage Manager, then led the Operations team, and eventually became Hotel Manager. His focus and determination on quality and the pursuit of success led him to take on a new challenge, as he returned to Kempinski as Hotel Manager of Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha, where he continues to excel.
