Google announced the expansion of the availability of the “Deep Research” tool through its Gemini artificial intelligence system, to include 40 additional languages, including Arabic.
Jules Walter, product manager for international markets at the Gemini application, said in a press release that the company is working with local teams to evaluate the data and improve its quality, stressing that there are programs to test models and ensure quality from a local point of view.
Google explained that the search process begins with collecting “important information” from the Internet, followed by searches related to the same topic, a process that is repeated several times to obtain accurate and comprehensive results.
In the same context, she stated that when the search is completed, the tool presents a report containing the most prominent results supported by links to the original sources, and users can request additional clarifications on some points or modify the report, with the possibility of exporting it to Google Docs in a text file.
The Deep Research tool was only available in English to subscribers of the Gemini Advanced service, and the tool works by asking the user from Gemini to research a specific topic, as the robot creates a “multi-step research plan” that the user can modify or approve.
