Google announced today the launch of a new feature called Take notes for me, through the Google Meet browser.
The company explained in a statement that the note-taking feature in Google Meet will initially be available in English only for computer or laptop users, adding that it will also allow meeting attendees to automatically take and share notes, see what happened in the meeting if you joined late, create action items for attendees, and get a summary of notes.
She noted that once the meeting starts, users will be able to use this feature to click on the pencil icon at the top right to start taking notes automatically.
It is worth noting that Google has been testing the note-taking tool in Google Meet with artificial intelligence for some time, and is now rolling out the feature to users as a full-fledged tool.
