The Competitions Committee of the Gulf Football Association decided to fix the date of the two semi-final matches of the Arabian Gulf Cup “Gulf 26” without postponement, while the final match was postponed to be held next Saturday instead of Friday.
Media reports revealed that the competitions committee in the Gulf Federation will meet today, Sunday, to discuss the possibility of amending the dates of the semi-final and final matches, so that the semi-final matches will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of Tuesday only, to provide the opportunity to hold the two matches at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000. Spectators, with the final match being held on the 4th instead of the 3rd of January.
Based on the decision of the Competitions Committee, the two semi-final matches will be held on their previously scheduled date, which is the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, where host Kuwait will meet Bahrain, while the Saudi team will meet Oman, while it was decided to postpone the final match to be held on Saturday instead of Friday.
