Over the years, scientific discoveries have made remarkable progress in understanding the complex processes that regulate human health and control organic functions, including: the effect of diet, exposure to stress, and toxins, in addition to childhood experiences, how they affect genetic modification, and the roles entrusted to them at the level of health results on the long term.

This is later known as the science of Lagin heredity, which was quickly emerged as a pivotal field that heads the pivotal research of Hamad Bin Khalifa University, a member of the Qatar Foundation, in order to understand the effect of adding environmental, behavioral and genetic factors and lifestyle on the genetic amendment, as part of its endeavor to reach its desired goal of achieving scientific and research progress.

In this context, the associate professor at the College of Health and Bioxination at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Dr. Club Al -Hajj, says: “Lagino genetics explores the way in which external factors, including diet, lifestyle, and environmental conditions, also explores a significant role in changing genetic behavior.”

He explained -in a statement that reached the island today, Wednesday -: “These changes help in determining how to express our genetic style, in other words, our biological genetic formula that we inherit, as well as our bodies or physical characteristics. These changes affect all our bodies, from the development of diseases to the way we grow up.”

Dr. Al -Hajj Club and his team are investigating the role played by the science of Lagine inheritance in the lives of individuals, with a highlight of the ability of certain patterns of DNA, which is one of the forms of Laginical change, to control the average age or accelerate the aging process.

This is what the doctor expressed: “We use tools known as the watches above the genetic/lagin, which can measure the counterpart of the DNA in specific locations in the genome, including the estimation of biological life. It does not stop there, through this tool, we can study the effect of diet and exercise on the true biological age of people.”

“We do not exaggerate when we realize the importance of studying biological life, two people may share the same time and are biological. For example, a person who follows a healthy lifestyle is characterized by a smaller biological life than that person who cares about the foods he eats and the unhealthy habits he follows.”

Lagine vital indicators

Dr. Club Al -Hajj deepens in his scientific exploration that extends to a number of diseases, including diabetes, by developing the vital Lajinian indicators. As he explains: “Genetic changes can occur early in the disease, and sometimes before its symptoms appear, which allows early detection of diseases, and thus intervention in a timely manner.”

Here, it is necessary to note that Lagini studies play a decisive role in developing precise health care, and ensuring the allocation of treatments that fit and the genetic structure of individuals.

In addition to the foregoing, Dr. Al -Hajj Club and his team study the influence of Lajini genetics on mental health, especially the effect of mental trauma and painful conditions on the Laginical adjustments, which he indicated: “Studies have shown that the Laginical adjustments can affect genes associated with mental health conditions, such as post -traumatic disorder,” adding: “People who suffer from shocks, whether caused by wars or other events in life, may They convey genetic changes that affect the mental health of future generations.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University also examines how Lagin changes are transmitted across generations, and in this Dr. club Al -Hajj says: “Studies indicate that some of the Lagine amendments are transferred from parents to the children, especially those resulting from the surrounding environmental factors. However, it is important to realize that not all Lagine changes can be inherited, during the fertilization process, most of these changes are subject to the process of reset or programming, but it can Some of them escape from this process and move to the next generation. “

Dr. Club Al -Hajj concluded his speech: “The main way to understand how Lagini changes develop over time and their relationship to diseases requires long -term studies. Researchers must be subjected to interpretation of their results. They should not assume once two workers are linked, one caused one to the other. Through long -term studies and accurate analysis they can determine whether Lagine changes may really cause health conditions Instead of just associating it. “
