His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, held a series of bilateral meetings with a number of government officials from various countries, in order to enhance bilateral and regional cooperation in the field of communications and information technology, and to exchange experiences and knowledge about the latest developments in this vital sector.
These meetings included His Excellency Mr. Abdul Razzaq Natsheh, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the State of Palestine, His Excellency Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and His Excellency Mr. Ridwan Abdullah Bahdoun, Minister of Information in charge of Posts and Communications of the Republic of Djibouti.
During these meetings, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai reviewed the efforts of the State of Qatar in the field of digital transformation, stressing the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge in the fields of technological innovation, smart digital solutions, and digital infrastructure. He also highlighted the initiatives and projects implemented by Qatar to build a prosperous digital economy and improve the quality of life of citizens and residents.
During the meetings, ways of joint cooperation were discussed to develop innovative initiatives that enhance digitization efforts in the participating countries, with a focus on developing technological capabilities and developing systems supporting communications and information technology. These meetings emphasized Qatar’s firm commitment to strengthening regional and international partnerships to achieve sustainable development goals through technology and enhance the position of the State of Qatar as a regional center for digital innovation.
