Huawei announced the launch of the HUAWEI WATCH D2, the first wrist-based smart watch for blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) in the State of Qatar. The watch allows users to easily monitor blood pressure anywhere with one click. Users can set smart reminders for blood pressure measurements, enabling them to easily measure their blood pressure by just raising their wrist. The watch automatically measures your blood pressure while you sleep with minimal disturbance, ensuring a peaceful night and uninterrupted sleep. The HUAWEI WATCH D2 is also compatible with iOS and Android devices.

Monitor health throughout the day
The HUAWEI WATCH D2 provides 24-hour blood pressure monitoring to its users. The watch uses an inflatable air cushion to measure blood pressure at set intervals, with reminders during the day and automatic readings during sleep. The watch supports different measurement scenarios, including standing, sitting, or lying down. Ambulatory blood pressure measurement (ABPM) is considered the gold standard for the diagnosis and management of hypertension. Recommended by major health guidelines, including the 2020 Global Practice Guidelines for Hypertension from the International Society of Hypertension, the 2017 Blood Pressure Guidelines from the American Cardiology Association and the American Diabetes Association, and the 2018 Management of Arterial Hypertension Guidelines from the International Society of Hypertension European Cardiology and European Society of Hypertension.

Compact and lightweight
The HUAWEI WATCH D2 is designed for comfort and ease. It is compact and lightweight, making it ideal for continuous use to monitor blood pressure. It features a large 1.82-inch display with a new colorful UI and 2.5D design. It’s also much smaller than traditional blood pressure monitors, with an ultra-narrow 26.5mm airbag.

Comprehensive health management
The HUAWEI WATCH D2 provides comprehensive health tracking, including pulse-by-beat ECG analysis, blood oxygen level (SpO2) monitoring, arrhythmia analysis, heart rate, stress levels, and skin temperature monitoring. With one click, users can measure nine physical indicators and generate a Health Glance report that highlights potential health risks. This includes measurements of heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen, stress, body temperature, ECG, vascular elasticity, arrhythmia, and sleep breathing awareness.
The watch also provides more than 80 exercise modes, tracking daily tasks around exercise, diet, sleep, weight, and stress, to help users develop habits that support a healthy lifestyle that contributes to blood pressure management. The HUAWEI WATCH D2 comes with TruSense, a new paradigm for digital health and fitness defined by six key characteristics: accuracy, comprehensiveness, speed, flexibility, openness, and repeatability. Huawei also made a big leap this year in its sports health monitoring and algorithms module.
The HUAWEI WATCH D2 is available in black and gold, with a sweat-resistant and skin-friendly strap made of fluoroelastomer with soft TPU rubber, ensuring all-day comfort. It can be ordered through Huawei’s online store and authorized distributors in Qatar.
