Huawei supports the efforts of digital transformation in Qatar by concluding strategic partnerships during the web summit

Huawei, during her participation in the Summit of Qatar 2025, signed memoranda of understanding with many leading Qatari institutions to support the building of cloud infrastructure, developing information and communication technology talents, and technological innovation. The new agreements contribute to the consolidation of Huawei’s position as a major supporter of the efforts of the digital transformation in Qatar, and also emphasizes the pivotal role of the company in advancing innovation through the main economic sectors in the country.

The “Qatar Summit Qatar 2025” attracted more than 20 thousand participants from investors and policy makers in the sector, and allowed Huawei an optimal platform to express its firm commitment to strengthening the digital ecosystem in Qatar through strategic cooperation relations that meet the needs of various sectors.

As a pioneering company in supporting artificial intelligence applications, Huawei Klaud elevates the capabilities of this sector by providing integrated artificial intelligence capabilities that include infrastructure, computing power, algorithms, development frameworks and advanced large Bango models.

On this occasion, Dr. Zhou Shingao, Vice President of AI in Huawei Claude in the Middle East and Central Asia, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the role of artificial intelligence and cloud in reshaping sectors, and highlighted the importance of technical expertise and intellectual leadership of the company in these transformational areas.

For his part, Rico Lin, President of Huawei in the northern Gulf region, said: “The memoranda of the understanding that we have signed today confirms the extent of our commitment to support the digital future of Qatar. One of the most prominent partnerships held by Huawei during the summit is its agreement with the media city Qatar to establish a smart and developed media complex supported by Huawei technologies. This comprehensive infrastructure will bring together advanced control technology in the artificial intelligence -backed access with the smart space of the joint spaces, a multi -fastest integrated media platform, and a storage structure from the next generation of media content. This initiative aims to improve customer experiences in the media and entertainment sectors in Qatar.

On the other hand, Huawei has signed an agreement with the Qatar Digital Academy – an initiative of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology – to launch a joint academy for information and communication technology. This initiative aims to provide Qatari professionals and government employees with the skills of advanced information and communication technologies in the fields of fifth generation, cloud computing and digital transformation, while granting them internationally recognized certificates and providing opportunities for job development for them. This initiative also provides individuals and companies an opportunity to reach comprehensive training programs designed to bridge the digital skills gap, and support Qatar’s transformation march towards a smart economy of technology, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

Huawei also strengthened her cloud presence in Qatar through several strategic partnerships; Where PowerMind – the cloud services company that is based in the city of Lusail – joined the Huawei Claude partners and the cloud service providers program, which allows it to expand its services using the developed cloud solutions from Huawei. Power Mind will also benefit from the global ecosystem of Huawei, allowing it to reach a broader network of partners and resources to accelerate the pace of growth and innovation in the cloud computing sector. This cooperation combines the technical excellence of Huawei with the rich visions of “Power Mind” and its relationships with customers, and thus achieve a high level of business integration, except for providing new business opportunities in the market and achieving a greater value for customers.

Huawei also made a partnership with “Data Voice Technology” to provide private automatic sub -exchange services (PABX), and to provide advanced communications solutions to large projects, commercial institutions and small and medium -sized companies in Qatar. This cooperation will provide a comprehensive set of private automatic sub -exchange services supported by the strong cloud infrastructure of Huawei. The main advantages of this agreement include the ability to expand to support companies in keeping pace with the growth of private communications needs without large spending on equipment; And achieve cost efficiency by reducing maintenance and operating costs; Other than having many advanced features such as VOIP audio service (VOIP), call management, analyzes, and integration with business applications; In addition to credibility and security to ensure safe communication; Building local experiences to provide custom solutions that support the rapid response to customer requirements.

Also joined “Business for Information Technology” – a fully owned by a subsidiary of a business company, and a specialized provider for comprehensive and innovative information technology solutions – to the Huawei Claude partners network. This cooperation combines Huawei’s developed cloud technologies with the distinguished “IT” business technology experience to stimulate mutual growth and provide innovative cloud solutions to customers.

Moreover, Starlink, one of the leading companies in mobile distribution services, accessories and software in Qatar, was chosen as a certified distributor for Huawei Klaud services. Under this agreement, Starlink will develop comprehensive technical capabilities in the areas of cloud computing, infrastructure management and technical support services to enable the network of its sellers effectively. The company will also invest in developing the capabilities of its team by participating in training programs with certificates approved by Huawei, which guarantees them exceptional efficiency in providing “Huawei Klaoud” offers, and helps them provide professional guidelines for their sellers.
