Al -Mansouri: Developing the capabilities of the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators to achieve economic diversity

The activities of the Summer Innovation Camp 2025, organized by the Youth Entrepreneurship Club, were launched yesterday under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth in cooperation with the Qatar Chamber, and with the support of Qatar Development Bank, the hospitality of Qatar University, and the Sinonu innovation partner. The activities will continue until August 12, and include various workshops and events on startups, in addition to identifying professional paths, as these activities target high school students and universities.

The activities of the summer camp are held in several locations such as the Qatar Business Incubator (QBIC) and Qatar University, and aims to develop entrepreneurship and innovation among young people, providing an educational and interactive environment for developing entrepreneurial ideas and projects, enhancing leadership and teamwork skills, and encouraging effective communication and critical thinking, in addition to providing opportunities to communicate with entrepreneurs and professionals in this field.
Mr. Fawaz Abdullah Al -Masifri – Director of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth said: “We at the Ministry of Sports and Youth are of great importance to empowering young people and refining their skills. This camp is part of the summer camps plan implemented by all the Ministry’s youth centers and bodies, which aim to provide an educational and interactive environment that enhances youth capabilities and supports their future aspirations. The summer innovation camp embodies this vision through a supportive environment that stimulates creativity, leadership and teamwork, and provides real opportunities to learn and communicate with experts and entrepreneurs. ”
Mr. Ali Bouchabak Al -Mansouri – General Manager in charge of the Qatar Chamber stressed the Chamber’s commitment to support entrepreneurship and empowering Qatari youth, pointing out that the Chamber’s support for this camp comes from its firm belief in the importance of developing the capabilities of the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators, as this camp represents an integrated national platform that combines practical knowledge and realistic experience, and contributes to building a pioneering mentality among school and university students in Qatar.
He added that the Qatar Chamber’s support for entrepreneurship activities is a natural extension of the role the Chamber plays in enhancing the entrepreneurial environment in the country, and building strategic partnerships with various national bodies in order to support youth projects and achieve economic diversity in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
For her part, Mrs. Hala Ali Al -Misnad, Senior Director for Small and Medium Company Development at Qatar Development Bank, said: An integrated pioneering environment. ”
