Saad Al-Muhannadi, Executive Director of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation and tournament director, supervised the crowning of the winning players at the closing ceremony.
Al-Muhannadi said in a statement on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the tournament: I would like to congratulate the players on their victory in this distinguished tournament, which is considered an important platform for young players seeking to enhance their professional careers.
He pointed out that participating in this category of tournaments allows players to earn points that contribute to improving their global ranking, which qualifies them to compete in larger and more challenging tournaments within the Professional Players Association.
He stressed the federation’s keenness to provide these valuable opportunities to Qatari players, with the aim of supporting them at the beginning of their professional career. It is noteworthy that the total prize money for the tournament is $15,000.
