A study conducted by researchers from the University of Rohampton in the United Kingdom revealed that men all over the world gained length and weight twice faster than women during the past century, in the midst of the deep changes that humanity witnessed during that time period.

The researchers used data from the World Health Organization, overseas authorities and British records, to find out how he changed length and weight with living conditions.

During the study, the measurement was carried out through the HDI, a degree that depends on the average life expectancy, time in education and the per capita income, and ranges from zero to one.

The analysis of records of dozens of countries showed that for each increase of 0.2 points in the Human Development Index, women were 1.7 centimeters longer and 2.7 kg, while men were 4 centimeters longer and 6.5 kilograms.

This indicates that with the improvement of living conditions, length and weight increased, but in men it was faster twice as to women, according to the Guardian newspaper.
