Within the framework of Lusail Sports Club’s vision, which places human building at the heart of its mission and believes in the role of sport in instilling values, enhancing identity, and building bridges of communication between the various components of society, a number of the club’s first football team players visited Doha British School in a sports and community event aimed at enhancing communication with students and consolidating positive values through sports.
The visit witnessed the participation of Franco Rosso, Hossam Kamal, George Stojanovski, and Thiago Goss, where the school’s student players shared a distinctive sports atmosphere and played a short match with a group of students between the ages of 15 and 17 years.
This initiative comes from the club’s belief that integration between education, pedagogy, and sports represents a fundamental pillar in building a human being. Education builds knowledge, education establishes values and identity, and sports enhances discipline, teamwork, and belonging, in line with the vision of the State of Qatar in spreading the culture of sports, investing in people, and creating active generations in society.
After the match, Lusail players distributed incentive gifts to the students and took souvenir photos with them, in an atmosphere that reflected the importance of sports as a means of rapprochement, communication, and enhancing the spirit of participation.
The visit comes as part of Lusail Club’s direction towards strengthening its community presence, activating the concept of sports diplomacy, and consolidating its identity as a club whose role is not limited to competing on the field, but rather extends to building people, instilling values, enhancing identity, and creating a positive and sustainable impact on society.
