Our national volleyball team meets its Iraqi counterpart today in the quarter-finals of the 23rd Arab Men’s Volleyball Championship held in Bahrain. Al-Anabi topped the second group with 9 points at the top of the group, obtained by winning three consecutive matches over the teams of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait. Eight teams will participate in the tournament, divided into two groups. The first group includes the teams of the Sultanate of Oman, Iraq, Tunisia and Bahrain, while the second group includes Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The list of Al-Anabi players participating in the tournament includes Youssef Aghlaf, Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Muhammad Al-Sharshni, Papi Majit, Renan Ribeiro, Othman Abdel-Wahed, Nicolas, Abdul-Rahman Bakri, Bourbeslav, Youssef Al-Yafei, Irfan Assadi, Naji Mahmoud, and Muhammad Al-Wali.
