Nasser bin Hamad, CEO of Ooredoo Group in the Middle East

Ooredoo Group announced the appointment of Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani as the group’s Regional CEO for the Middle East. As part of the Ooredoo Group’s organizational restructuring, the positions of Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Group Executive Vice President have been abolished.
The new structure includes two positions for the group’s regional CEO, each of whom will be responsible for a specific region. Sheikh Nasser will oversee Ooredoo’s operations in Kuwait, Oman, and Iraq, while the group’s regional CEO for North Africa and Asia, Mr. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Nama, will continue to supervise the company’s operations in Tunisia, Algeria, Indonesia, the Maldives, and Palestine. Sheikh Nasser has extensive experience of more than 20 years, of which he spent 15 years at Ooredoo. He most recently served as Group Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.
