A promising new study revealed that immunotherapy may help cancer patients to avoid surgeries, which is a major step towards non -surgical treatments.

The study was conducted by researchers from the Memorial Celed Cancer Cancer Center and other research centers in the United States, and its results were presented last April at the annual meeting of the American Cancer Research Association, in conjunction with its publication in the New England Journal of Medicine, and wrote about the “New Zoyn” magazine, written by the magazine “New Zoyn”. The study dealt with the effectiveness of immunotherapy, such as Dostarlimab, to reduce tumors without the need for surgery. This treatment enhances the body’s ability to discover and destroy cancer cells. The results showed the effectiveness of treatment even in advanced cases of cancer.

In a previous study, immunotherapy showed amazing results with rectal cancer patients, as all the participants who received treatment remained recovering from cancer after 4 years. In the current study, which included patients with different types of cancer, such as colon, esophagus, stomach, the results showed that 92% of patients did not show any signs of the disease after two years of treatment.
