Old Doha Port organizes special events to celebrate “Al-Adha”

Old Doha Port announced the organization of many festive events on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, which aim to attract citizens, residents and visitors, as it will offer a series of diverse activities for children and adults alike.

To celebrate this occasion, the Old Port of Doha will host artistic performances presented by a group of traditional folk groups to celebrate the artistic and maritime cultural heritage of the State of Qatar. These offers will be presented in the Al-Bandar area in the square opposite the fish market (Al-Jabra), starting on the first day of Eid, and these offers will continue until June 19 in the evening period from 6:30 until 10 o’clock daily.
The port invited everyone to join the festive activities in an exceptional evening full of distinctive folk art performances. It also invited water activities lovers to enjoy the beauty of Doha’s picturesque waters during open days that include kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding activities, in order to encourage the practice of marine sports during the Eid Al-Adha holiday period. By facilitating their entry to the port basin from the port Corniche area for free, starting from the first day of Eid until June 19, in the evening period from 3:30 until 6:30 pm. The port administration also stressed the necessity of adhering to the highest standards of security and safety and ensuring that special equipment is brought for all marine sports enthusiasts, including but not limited to a life jacket, to enjoy a distinctive experience with the utmost safety.
In celebration of Eid, the Old Doha Port provides a unique festive atmosphere specially designed for children, to enjoy the fun and entertaining game kiosks that will be organized in the Al Mina neighborhood on a daily basis starting from the first day of Eid. These offers will continue until June 22 in the evening period from five o’clock to ten o’clock. And half past night.
On the occasion of the onset of summer, Old Doha Port announces a series of new developments on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, making it possible for cars to enter the port district road and enjoy an exceptional experience that enables drivers to drive their cars and enjoy the picturesque beauty of the port and the splendor of its distinctive architectural design, and easy access to restaurants, shops, and parking their cars.
