The Al-Adham beach volleyball team, consisting of the duo: Sherif Younes and Ahmed Tijan, will conclude the group stage matches of the Swiss Gstaad Tour, one of the Elite16 tours organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) for the men’s and women’s categories, which will be held during the period from 3 to 7 July. The Al-Adham team will also participate in the Vienna Tour, Austria, which will be held from 9 to 14 July.
The Qatari team is scheduled to play its third match against Team America 2, consisting of the duo Timothy Brewster and Logan Weber, in Group 2 matches. Yesterday, the Qatari team started its journey in the World Tour by defeating Team America, consisting of the duo Chase Budinger and Miles Evans, with two sets to none, with scores of (21-17 and 21-18), and lost its second match in the group to Team Brazil, consisting of the duo Andre Stein and George Wanderlei, with two sets to none, with scores of (19-21, 17 and 21).
