Tomorrow, Friday, Qatari runner Abderrahman Samba will compete in the 400-meter hurdles final, as part of the athletics competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Samba qualified for the final after finishing the semi-final race with a time of (48:20) seconds, which is the second best indirect qualifying time for the final, after finishing the qualifiers second in the second group, achieving a time of (48:35) seconds.
The Qatari runner will seek to compete for one of the three medals in the race, which will witness the participation of an elite group of champions, including Norwegian Christian Warholm (Tokyo 2020 gold medalist), his runner-up Brazilian Alisson dos Santos, and American Ray Benjamin (bronze medalist in the previous Olympics).
Samba, who won the gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, is looking forward to giving his best in the final and achieving his first Olympic medal.
