A company that provides health care services in Contecticut in the United States confirmed that one of the pirates enables access to sensitive data for more than a million patients.

Electronic attacks on health care providers in the United States have increased recent years, according to Newsweek.

According to a report issued on January 21 last of a cybersecurity solution specialist, 84% of organizations in the health care sector monitored an electronic attack on its infrastructure in the past 12 months. Hygienic providers’ data can cause severe concerns among the general public and those with different interest due to the sensitivity of health information.

A healthcare provider in the state of Contecticut “CHC”, which provides services to more than 145,000 Connecticut residents, confirmed in a letter to patients that on January 2, they noticed “an extraordinary activity in our computer systems.”

“CHC” added in her speech that “experts were used to investigate the problem, and it was found that a skilled criminal penetration had been able to access the system and take some data, which may include your personal information.”

Personal information that may enable the hacker to access or take the patient’s name, birth date, address, phone number, email, diagnoses, treatment details, test results, social security number and health insurance information. It is believed that the hacker’s arrival was banned within hours, and that there is currently no threat to service provider data systems.
