Qatar Finance: Caring for National Talents and supporting the next generation of Qatari leaders

The Qatar Financial Center received the third batch of participants in the “Executive Master of Command” program at the Faculty of Administration and Economics at Qatar University, in cooperation with the Qatar Leadership Center. This visit came within an integrated educational experience aimed at introducing the promising Qatari leaders to the mechanisms of the work of the financial system in the State of Qatar.
The visit included interactive sessions with senior employees of the center, aimed at enhancing the knowledge of the participants in the mission of the Qatar Financial Center, the services it provides, and the strategic role that it plays in the field of financial services and the business field in the country. During the visit, the participants also met the main sectors that the center focuses on, including financial and vocational services, Islamic finance, and financial technology.
The visit program also included visual offers made by experts from the Qatar Financial Center and the Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority, in addition to introductory tours during which the participants were known to the “Financial Technology Department”, which is the area designated for financial technology companies in the center, and the Immigration Services Office of the Ministry of Interior at the center, as well as a visit to the Qatar International Court and the Dispute Resolution Center, where the participants have known the institutions that develop the financial and organizational environment in the country.
Commenting on the importance of this visit, Mr. Hamed Ali Al -Saadi, CEO of Financial and Tax Affairs at the Qatar Financial Center, said: “We are proud to get to know the next generation of Qatari leaders and are pleased to give this opportunity to introduce the participants in the Executive Master’s program to the pivotal role played by the Qatar Money Center in the Commercial and Financial System in Qatar. This comes within the framework of our belief in the importance of integration between academic institutions and the business environment, and this visit confirms our continuous commitment to sponsoring national talents and supporting the pillar of human development in Qatar National Vision 2030 ».
For his part, Dr. Yasser Fadl, associate professor at the Faculty of Administration and Economics at Qatar University, said: “As part of our commitment to field training and linking academic knowledge to practical experience, we have been pleased to visit the Qatar Financial Center, which was organized during the Field Tours Week for students of the Executive Master of Driving Program. This visit provided a valuable opportunity for our students that enabled them to meet with business leaders in Qatar, and earned them an in -depth understanding of institutional strategies and introduced them to challenges in practical life. Such experiences are necessary to provide our young leaders with the basic skills and deep knowledge necessary to practice effective leadership in light of the changing economic scene in Qatar.
This cooperation reflects the commitment of the Qatar Money Center to exchange knowledge and talent development, in line with its mission in supporting the building of a diverse economy based on knowledge. By hosting the students of the Qatar Leadership Center, with the aim of preparing Qatari cadres that possess high skills that qualify them to take leadership in the future, the center contributes to enhancing the link between the development of national leaders and economic innovation.
