Today, the Qatar Financial Markets Authority launched a specialized training program on “financial derivatives”, in cooperation with the Union of Arab Securities Authorities, on the occasion of World Investor Week 2024, which will last for three days.
This initiative comes within the efforts of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority to enhance financial culture and develop skills in the Qatari financial market, as it seeks to support investors and professionals in this field.
The training program aims to enhance basic knowledge of the systems and practices related to financial derivatives and commodities, and also aims to enable participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial derivatives and how to trade them, in addition to the investment strategies associated with them.
The program targets workers in capital market institutions, including regulatory bodies, stock exchanges and depository centres, which contributes to developing their skills and competence in this field.
It covers multiple topics, including an introduction to derivatives and basic financial markets, in addition to futures and options. It also includes lectures on hedging and investment strategies, providing participants with the necessary tools to understand and manage financial risks.
At the end of the program, participants will receive certificates accredited by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority and the Union of Arab Securities Authorities, which enhances their professional capabilities.
