Visit the “Visit QATAR” Qatar to host the upcoming return of one of the most prominent events in Qatar, the Qatar International Food Festival in its fourteenth edition, which will be held from February 12 to 22 in the hotel garden in Doha.
The festival is its visitors with a greater and better experience than ever, with a wide range of delicious dishes, distinctive shows and exceptional experiences.
This year’s version will be supported by major partners, including Eser and Senno as the Platinum Shepherds, Qatar Airways as the exclusive aviation partner, and “Katara Hospitality” as a strategic partner.
The Qatar International Food Festival comes as part of Qatar’s tourism vision to enhance Qatar’s position as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world, as it reflects the country’s rich cultural diversity through dishes inspired by different civilizations, and it is expected that the event will attract thousands of visitors from inside and outside Qatar, to serve as an act. A platform celebrates creativity in the world of cooking and exchanging cultures across food.
The festival includes more than 100 local exhibitors, 27 international restaurants and workers, entertainment shows, as well as providing international cooking experiences by a group of major chefs, organizing cooking competitions, and exclusive workshops that allow visitors to learn and interact with experts.
The world -class food can also be tasting from the top chefs, participating in a set of fun activities, in addition to enjoying a lot of surprises, including a dedicated area this year for Michelin guide.
The Michelin Directory awards celebrates the scene of cooking and exceptional dining in Doha, and this year included two restaurants for one Michelin star, and 4 other restaurants were classified in the “Pep -Gornand” category, in addition to 27 restaurants chosen based on its exceptional cooking experiences.
The presence of restaurants classified within the Michelin guide is a qualitative turning point in Doha, and enhances Qatar’s position as a leading global destination in luxury food and hospitality.
