Al Rayyan Club announced today the addition of Palestinian defender Mohammed Saleh to the first football team for the current 2024-2025 season.
The club stated in a statement on its website that the 32-year-old player officially signed a contract to join the team to begin his career starting from the current 2024-2025 season.
Saleh played for Muaither Club last April, in a free transfer deal, as a substitute for Jordanian defender Yazan Al Arab, who was injured in the team’s league match against Al Duhail in the Qatari league competitions last season.
Al Rayyan will compete in the AFC Champions League for the elite and will begin its journey by hosting Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia on September 17, before heading to Riyadh to meet Al Nassr on the 30th of the same month.
The team, which has won the Qatari league title eight times before, is in eighth place in the overall standings this season with three points after three rounds.
