Qatar Post opens an outlet in the “Free Zones”

Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA) announced the opening of the latest postal outlet of Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) at the Investor Relations Center in the Business and Innovation Park in Ras Bufontas Free Zone, in a move to enhance the services provided to investors and support the growth of their businesses.
The opening of the new postal outlet follows the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Authority and Qatar Post, emphasizing the importance of establishing strategic partnerships between the Free Zones Authority and leading national institutions such as Qatar Post, to contribute together to attracting more foreign direct investment. The outlet aims to provide a range of services to companies operating in the free zones and give them easy access to a variety of comprehensive postal solutions designed specifically to meet their needs, thus supporting operational efficiency and growth of these businesses.
The opening was attended by a number of senior officials from both sides, including Mr. Abdullah Hamad Al Binali, Director of Investor Relations and Technical Support at Qatar Free Zones Authority, and Mr. Abdullah Shalash Al Hajri, Acting General Manager of Qatar Post.
Mr. Abdullah Hamad Al Binali, Director of Investor Relations and Technical Support at Qatar Free Zones Authority, said:

It will also significantly enhance our ability to provide postal services in accordance with the highest international standards, which are essential for the daily operations of companies operating in the free zones. It also highlights our commitment to providing everything that facilitates the conduct of business, opens up better prospects for growth and expansion, and contributes to the comprehensive economic development of the State of Qatar as a unique investment destination in the region and the world.”
For his part, Mr. Abdullah Shalash Al Hajri, Acting General Manager of Qatar Post, said:

The new Qatar Post outlet will provide a range of postal services to companies operating in the free zones, including mail collection, PO Box services, international shipping, connected collection (shopping and shipping services) and other distinguished postal services and solutions that contribute to increasing the operational efficiency of companies and their connection to the world.
