Qatar raises its tally to 14 colored medals at the conclusion of the West Asian Table Tennis Championship in Jordan

The Qatari table tennis team raised its tally to 14 colored medals (4 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze) at the conclusion of its participation in the West Asian Table Tennis Championship, which was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, for six days, with the participation of 11 countries.
Returning to the results of the Qatari table tennis team mission, it achieved 6 colored medals at the team level, with two gold medals in the youth under 17 years old and juniors under 15 years old categories, in addition to 3 silver medals in the cubs under 13 years old, buds under 11 years old, and buds under 11 years old categories, in addition to a bronze medal achieved by the women’s team.
At the doubles level, the national team players won 4 colored medals: a gold in the juniors under 15 category, a silver in the youth under 17 and juniors under 11 categories, in addition to a bronze in the women’s category.
The individual tally amounted to 4 colored medals, including a gold medal in the youth under 17 category, in addition to two silver medals in the youth under 17 and buds under 11 categories, and a bronze medal in the women’s category.
At the end of the tournament, the West Asian Federation officials, headed by Tariq Al-Zoubi, President of the Jordanian Federation and the West Asian Federation, crowned the champions in the presence of a number of officials from the participating local federations.
Khalid Ali Al Kuwari, Director of National Teams and Head of the Qatari Table Tennis Team Mission to the West Asian Championship, expressed his happiness with the results achieved by the team mission in the championship.
Al Kuwari said in a press statement that Qatari table tennis is constantly developing and always looking forward to competing on the podiums. He stressed that the work will continue with double efforts in order to achieve more accomplishments and raise the name of Qatar high in various external tournaments.
