Today, Qatar SC announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Carlos Vinicius “Carlinhos” from Portuguese club Portimonense.
The 30-year-old Carlinhos had several experiences with Belgian club Standard Liège, Portuguese club Estoril Praia and Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, before joining Portimonense.
This deal is the first for Qatar SC in the current summer transfers, after it renewed its contract with the Spaniard Javi Martinez, and decided to continue with the Moroccan defender Badr Banoun, and the Congolese striker Ben Malango, while the Ivorian Yohan Boli left its ranks after the end of his contract.
Qatar SC held its preparatory camp for the upcoming season in Spain, during which it played a number of friendly matches.
The team, led by coach Youssef Al-Nubi, will begin its journey in the Qatar Football League for the new season, by facing Al-Duhail on August 10 at Khalifa International Stadium.
