Qatar Tourism, in cooperation with the Department of Educational Services Centers at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, held a special workshop to explain the procedures and mechanisms for booking hotel halls by educational and training services centers.
The workshop was presented by Ms. Iman Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of the Educational Services Centers Department in the Private Education Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, while representatives of hotels in Qatar gave a full presentation on the requirements that educational services centers must meet in order to be able to book halls in hotels to hold their events.
The most important of these requirements is that the center obtains prior approval from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and that the valid educational license that the center possesses is reviewed, provided that the license is attached to the application papers for booking to hold events and conferences.
On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Al Ansari, Director of Tourism Licensing Department at Qatar Tourism, said: “We are pleased to cooperate with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to provide this workshop to hotels, which aims to clarify the procedures and mechanisms for booking hotel halls by educational service centers.” He added: “This workshop aims to protect the interests of companies accredited in the tourism sector, enhance service excellence, enhance the reputation of the hospitality sector in general, and maintain high-quality standards. We at Qatar Tourism will continue to cooperate with all entities in the country to enhance the efficiency and transparency of services related to the tourism sector.” For her part, Ms. Iman Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of Educational Service Centers Department, stated that one of the priorities of the Educational Service Centers Department is to ensure the quality of the service provided by the training centers and to advance in building an attractive and stimulating environment to achieve Qatar Vision 2030 by ensuring the quality of the content provided and encouraging investors to create a safe environment that contributes to continuous regular learning, which is what was worked on in cooperation with Qatar Tourism and hotel representatives.
