Qatar Tourism explained, in a statement today, that the exhibition, which will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center during the period from September 28 to October 3, will present the latest jewelry and watch collections from the Qatari and international markets.

His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, President of Qatar Tourism, said: “The Doha Jewelery and Watches Exhibition is one of the most prominent events of Qatar Tourism, and reflects our commitment to providing world-class experiences and enhancing Qatar’s position as a leading destination for luxury tourism. The exhibition brings together an elite group of international and regional brands and Qatari designers, in a platform that celebrates craftsmanship and innovation.”

He added: “In line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, the exhibition contributes, through the continuous support of partners, to diversifying tourism offers, supporting local talent, and opening horizons for cultural and commercial exchange.”

This year’s edition of the exhibition is sponsored by QNB Group as an official sponsor as part of the efforts aimed at strengthening the exhibition’s position as one of the most prominent jewelry and watch exhibitions in the region. QNB Group’s participation as an official sponsor of this year’s edition of the exhibition also reflects its commitment to supporting the most prominent major events hosted by Qatar, thus enhancing its position as a destination for international events that combine luxury and an upscale lifestyle.

The statement indicated that this year’s edition is distinguished by providing a unified visual experience that extends across the various exhibition spaces and exhibitor pavilions, which enhances the distinctive character of the exhibition and provides a more harmonious experience for visitors. It brings together an elite group of the most prominent names in the world of jewelry and watches in the local market, along with a group of international brands.

This year’s edition is scheduled to witness the allocation of three distinct pavilions, including the pavilion for Qatari designers. The exhibition will also witness a diverse international presence, including the Turkish and Indian pavilions, reflecting the diversity of participation and the local, regional and international designs and creativity that the exhibition offers.

Among the most prominent new additions to this year’s edition is the participation of the international auction house Christie’s, which is one of the international auction houses specialized in the fields of arts, luxury collectibles, and rare pieces. It has a rich heritage that extends for about 260 years since its founding in 1766, during which it presents exceptional collectibles from the most important collections of antique collectors in the world. Christie’s experts will also share their expertise in the jewelry and watch sectors through public discussion sessions aimed at providing valuable insights about these two vital sectors of the market.
