QSL holds a financial oversight workshop for the upcoming season

With the aim of reviewing the latest developments and developments with regard to financial control regulations and relevant circulars and assisting all club companies registered in the financial control system to control, improve and stabilize financial performance and review the binding rules in this regard, and inform all club companies of the developments and development that has been completed and is being completed in order to develop Working through the two committees (CPA and CST), the Qatar Stars League Foundation, in cooperation with the Qatar Football Association, held a financial oversight workshop for the new season 2024-2025, yesterday morning, in the presence of a number of members of the Financial Oversight Committee, and representatives from the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Football Association. Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of the Qatar Stars League, delivered a speech at the beginning, welcoming the audience, stressing the importance of the workshop, which comes within the framework of permanent coordination and cooperation between the Financial Control Committee and club companies and within the preparation for the new football season, in addition to reviewing all the items. Which is included in this mandatory regulation for all club companies. The agenda was reviewed and a number of topics were discussed, most notably: governance and management, club company budgets and financial plans for the 2024-2025 season, circulating transfers between both the contract budget and the operating expenses budget, and circulating and procedures for settling operational expense defenses, in addition to the mediators of players and coaches and the circular issued by Qatar Football Association, regulations and procedures for local professional players’ affairs. The work mechanism of the Central Exploration Committee (CST) and its cooperation with club companies, the financial control work platform, and the procedures resulting from violating the financial control regulations were also discussed. At the conclusion of the workshop, a clarification and response to a number of inquiries and observations raised by representatives of club companies.
