Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, stressed the keenness of the Council countries to participate in the Asian Finance Forum 2025, which provides many opportunities to discuss financing issues and global economic challenges.
The Secretary-General of the Council said – during his participation in the opening session of the forum, which was held today in the Chinese city of Hong Kong – that the participation of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council in this forum comes from its keenness to learn about all developments in the regional and global financial scene, so that it can benefit from them to develop and enhance The financial sector, which reflects positively on their economies.
He stated that it is the first time that the forum has witnessed the organization of a special dialogue session concerned with the Gulf Cooperation Council, stressing that this joint session comes within the ongoing efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Hong Kong to cooperate and strengthen economic and financial relations in the fields of investment and trade between the two sides.
It is noteworthy that the Asian Finance Forum, which will be held today and tomorrow (Tuesday), is attended by a number of ministers, senior officials, policy makers, investors and businessmen from more than 50 countries.
