Al Arab learned that Al Wakra Club has submitted an official offer to the Jordanian international player Yazan Al Naimat to join the ranks of Al Wakra Club in preparation for participating in the AFC Champions League 2, in which Al Wakra will participate in the first group, which includes, in addition to it, the Iranian Tractor Club, the Indian Mohun Bagan Club, and the Tajik Ravshan Club, while the first match will be in Doha against the Iranian Tractor on October 2.
Al-Wakra had completed its seven professional players in addition to the under-age professionals, but the Asian Football Confederation’s decision not to specify the number of professionals in the ranks of the clubs participating in the tournament made Al-Wakra search for more than one professional player to strengthen the ranks.
It is worth noting that Al-Arabi Club is competing with Al-Wakrah regarding contracting with the player Yazan Al-Naimat, who is bound by an official contract with Al-Ahli Club, which demanded that the player pay the penalty clause before agreeing to grant him a release to transfer to another club, whether in the Qatari League or other leagues.
