The results of the second day competitions for the old Doha Port Championship “Ikbis” for Ramadan beach volleyball in its third edition, currently held in the old Doha Port Park until March 14, resulted in the victory of the Khalifa City team against the Police College in two halves without a response, by (21-14) and (21-10), and the Mangostein team defeated Azgoy with two clean halves by (21-16) and (21 -14), and Al -Madaid team beat Al -Rayyan in two halves without a response by (21-15) and (21-14).
While the confrontations of the third day of the championship are witnessing 3 games, the dean’s gathering with many, the challenge of information with Al -Maraqab, and the city of Khalifa with Mars.
12 teams will participate in the championship, which were distributed to four groups, where the first group included: Victonna, Azgoy, Mangusteen, and came in the second group: Dean, Al -Rayyan, many, and in the third group: the challenge of information, Al -Wakra, Al -Murqab, while the fourth and last group included: Khalifa City, Police College, Mars.
The tournament will be held in the group of groups from one role so that the first and second each group qualifies to the quarter -finals.
The organizing committee announced a financial prizes of 100 thousand riyals for the owners of the first three places, in the context of supporting and encouraging the participating teams, as the champion will receive 50 thousand riyals, the runner -up 30 thousand riyals, and the third place is 20 thousand riyals .. The amount of 600 thousand riyals was also monitored as gifts and prizes for the masses, in addition to holding a set of accompanying events.
