Spanish coach Felix Sanchez, coach of Al Sadd, expressed his great confidence in his team’s ability to achieve victory and collect three points in tomorrow’s confrontation against Al Shamal, hosted by Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, in the 12th round of the Qatari Football League “Arid Stars League” for the 2023/2024 season.
Sanchez said in the press conference held before the match: We are aware of the challenges we faced against Al-Shamal at the opening of the league, and we are fully aware that we will face a team that achieves very good results, has offensive strength and a good defensive organization.
He added: We have experience from the first confrontation with them, and we are excited about the resumption of competitions, and I believe that the players are ready to return to the match atmosphere.
The Al Sadd coach pointed out that every match has become more important in light of the competition for the title, stressing the necessity of playing at the best possible level to obtain points.
At the end of his speech, he stressed that the upcoming matches will be decisive, expressing his confidence in the players’ willingness to provide the best performance and achieve results that satisfy the aspirations of the team’s fans.
For his part, Spanish coach David Racero, coach of the Al-Shamal team, confirmed that his team’s mission against the defending champion will not be easy at all, given the distinguished elements it includes, indicating that his team was keen to prepare well for this confrontation.
Rassero, who previously worked at Al Sadd Club, said: We are ready for the match and are looking forward to achieving the best possible result. We know that Al Sadd is a strong team and includes players of the highest level.
Rasero pointed out that Al-Sadd is one of the best teams in the Qatari League, stressing that his team is seeking to achieve a positive result and obtain the three points, as happened in the first division, and to continue competing for the advanced positions in the ranking table.
At the conclusion of his statements, the Al-Shamal coach stressed the importance of full concentration throughout the course of the match, and being prepared to face all situations and circumstances.
Al-Sadd occupies second place in the league standings with 22 points, with a goal difference from Al-Ahly, which is in third place, while Al-Shamal comes in fifth place with 16 points.
