Qatar Islamic Bank “Al Masraf” (a Qatari public shareholding company) won the “Best Islamic Bank in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries for the year 2024” award from the International Union of Arab Bankers, at the Banking Excellence and Achievement Awards Ceremony for the year 2024.

The bank’s receipt of this award confirms its position in the field of Sharia-compliant banking services, as it continues to promote innovation, provide advanced banking solutions, and support Qatar National Vision 2030 to build a diversified economy by focusing on digital transformation, financial inclusion, and sustainable growth.

Mr. Basil Jamal, CEO of the QIB Group, said that the selection of the QIB as the best Islamic bank in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for the year 2024 confirms the commitment to developing Islamic banking in Qatar and abroad.

The International Union of Arab Bankers, a sister organization of the Union of Arab Banks, organizes the Banking Excellence and Achievement Awards ceremony annually. The ceremony was held this year in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to celebrate the achievements of prominent banks and financial institutions in the fields of innovation and excellence.
