The competitions of the seventh edition of the Championship of Banks and Financial Football Championships will start this evening, which is held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Bandar bin Muhammad bin Saud Al Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank, and His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Thani, Deputy Governor of Qatar Central Bank.
The tournament is opened in an enthusiastic atmosphere with the participation of 28 teams, where 10 games are held at once at Al Shaabi Stadium at Asbayer Academy
The tournament is held this year with a joint organization between Qatar Central Bank, Aspire Zone Academy, the Qatar Football Association, and the Sports Cup channels, and all matches are played on the stadiums of Aspire Academy.
Where the Al -Rayyan Bank team meets the Al -Jazeera Finance Company, at 7: 00, and at the same time the Qatar Insurance Company meets the Doha Exchange team, while the Mashreq Bank team meets with the QLM team, Qatar Development Bank team with the Islamic Insurance Company team at 7: 45 pm, and the city team plays for the National Exchange team, and the Dukhan Bank team with the Gulf Exchange team at 8:30 pm, and meets the company team. The championship matches will be held on the Aspire 1 and 2 stadiums.
The group stage is scheduled to conclude on April 26, with the round of 16 matches start on April 28, and the quarter -finals will be held on April 30, while the semi -finals next May 3, with the third and fourth place match, and the final match on May 7. The championship draw resulted in the participation of the participating teams in 8 groups.
