The draw for the Gulf Club Champions League will be held on September 23 in Doha

The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation announced that the draw date for the Gulf Club Champions League will be changed to September 23 in Doha.
The Gulf Federation stated in a statement that the tournament will start from October 23 to April 15 of next year, 2025.
The Arabian Gulf Cup Federation approved the participation of eight clubs: Al-Arabi of Qatar, Al-Nasr of the Emirates, Al-Riffa of Bahrain, Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait, Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia, Al-Ahly of Sana’a of Yemen, Dhofar of Oman, and Dohuk of Iraq.
In this regard, Mr. Jassim Al Rumaihi, Secretary General of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation, confirmed that the total financial prizes have recorded a significant increase, so that the tournament prizes now compete with the prizes of the Asian Football Confederation, which demonstrates the great interest of the Federation.
Al-Rumaihi added that incentives and prizes have been allocated to the participating teams, as the first-place winner (champion) will receive a cash prize of three million dollars, while the prize for the second-place team is one million dollars.
Individual prizes have also been allocated for the participating players, as the best player in the tournament will receive a prize of 50 thousand US dollars, the best goalkeeper will receive 50 thousand US dollars, in addition to the tournament’s top scorer who will also receive a prize of 50 thousand US dollars.
The Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation has allocated a financial contribution to the participating clubs and other financial incentive prizes according to the regulations, where a financial amount of three hundred thousand dollars has been allocated to the clubs participating in the tournament, in addition to a reward for qualifying for the semi-finals of one hundred thousand dollars.
There will also be a contribution for travel to play away from home, with each participating club being given a sum of thirty thousand dollars for each match played away from home, in addition to a match win bonus of thirty thousand dollars for each match won.
The approval to hold the Gulf Clubs Championship was issued during the meeting of the Executive Office of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation, which was held at the end of last May, based on the proposal of the Federation’s Competitions Committee.
