The National Agency reviews efforts to enhance cybersecurity

The National Cyber ​​Security Agency participated in the national annual meeting of the NATCSIRT 2025, on the sidelines of its participation in the annual forum for the response teams of cyber accidents and security in its 37th editions in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
The meeting provided the opportunity to respond to the national cyber security incidents to exchange information, tools, technologies and strategies that address the unique problems facing, which are concerned with countries or national economies.
The National Cyber ​​Security Agency made a presentation aimed at highlighting the role of confusion teams to cyber security incidents since its foundation. The importance of cooperation between the different teams and the efforts made to enhance cybersecurity at the national level was also indicated.
The National Agency seeks within its general strategy to enhance cybersecurity and digital safety indicators in the State of Qatar, and digital rehabilitation of various segments of society.
In this context, the National Cyber ​​Security Agency, represented by the National Academy of Cyber ​​Security, organized, during the month of May, the National Cyber ​​Professional Program, with the aim of developing the skills of workers in the field of information technology and cyber security in the various regions of the state, providing them with the latest knowledge, and keeping pace with technological developments and urgent cyber changes.
The program witnessed the registration of a number of government agencies, and it was designed with specialized training exercises, which extended the red track for 7 days, while the blue track lasted for 10 days, in the context of developing national capabilities and strengthening the cybersecurity system in the State of Qatar.
The agency also organized a series of specialized workshops, with the participation of a group of governmental, academic and industrial agencies in the country, in cooperation with the Qatar Institute for Computing Research and the Research Foundation at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. This is with the aim of crystallizing the directions of the program, defining its national priorities in light of the needs of the local market and global cyber and promoting innovation in the field of cybersecurity.
