Competitions for the first edition of the Qatar Professional Squash Federation “Satellite 2025” tournament will begin tomorrow, Monday, which will be held over three days on the courts of the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
The tournament brings together 16 players from different countries of the world, led by the Qatari player Salem Al-Maliki and the second seed in the tournament, Asad Khan.
Mr. Saad Al-Muhannadi, Executive Director of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation, said in a statement that the tournament is an important opportunity for players to improve their international ranking, as it gives them the opportunity to collect points that help them move to higher professional stages in their careers.
Al-Mohannadi expressed his confidence that the tournament will witness strong competitions, as participating players of different nationalities will be keen to present their best levels, stressing that organizing this tournament reflects the Federation’s commitment to developing the sport of squash and providing a high-quality competitive environment that benefits Qatari players.
