The Qatar Stock Exchange index declined marginally at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.07 percent, losing its balance by 6.06 points compared to the close of the last session, falling to the level of 9238 points under pressure from four sectors.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance for the communications sector by 0.58 percent, the real estate sector by 0.43 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.42 percent. In contrast, the performance was negative for the transportation sector by 0.07 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.18 percent, the industrial sector by 0.33 percent, and the insurance sector by 0.85 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth 50.351 million riyals, distributed among 24,585 million shares, with 3,140 transactions executed.
