Today, the national youth team’s mission will leave for the Saudi city of Abha in preparation for participating in the Gulf Youth Cup under 20, which will be held from August 28 to September 9.
The draw for the championship fell in the first group, along with the teams of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Yemen, as part of the new version of the tournament hosted by the Saudi Football Association. The second group includes the teams of Oman, Bahrain and Iraq, along with the Egyptian team, which is participating in an invitation card from the Gulf Football Association, after the Emirates team apologized for not participating in the tournament.
Our national team will start its career in the championship by facing the Kuwait national team next Thursday at eight thirty, in Prince Sultan Sports City, then Yemen will face on Sunday August 31 at the Damak Stadium at 4:30 pm, and finally confront the Saudi team on September 3 in Prince Sultan Sports City at the end of the group stage. Emmanuel Infanti, Al Annabi coach, announced the team’s list of the championship, which included 23 players: Naeem Al -Mughni, Ali Boumediene, Cristian Saric, Ahmed Al -Sayed, Ahmed Nasser, Iran Koturu, Emmanuel Francis, Bilal Muhammad, Jadoun Joseph, Khaled Al -Shuaibi, Khaled Hossam, Radi Muhammad, Richard Sham, Asim Ahmed, Alaum Muhammad, Abdel Aziz Al -Mutawa, Omar Ali, Muhammad Jihad, Muhammad Mu’tasim, Moamen Muhammad and Youssef Hani.
