Today, the third edition of the “Ax 2025” beach ball championship, which was held from March 6 to 14, will be concluded today in the old port of Doha. The tournament witnessed the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al -Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, as well as a group of prominent personalities to follow this great sporting event.
12 teams participated in the championship, divided into four groups. The teams played the group stage matches, and 8 teams qualified to the quarter -finals, then to the semi -finals, to reach the Al -Maraqab and Manugustin teams to the final.
The Mangusteen team qualified for the final after beating the many teams without a response in the semi-finals, and the results of the runs came 21-15 and 21-15. As for the Al-Murqab team, it reserved its seat in the final after its victory over the Khalifa city team with the same result, as the runs ended 21-17 and 21-17.
It is scheduled to meet the Al -Maraqab and Mangustein teams in the final match, while the Khalifa City teams and many will compete for the third and fourth places. The tournament included four groups
The championship was held with the group of groups from one round, where the first and second each group qualified to the quarter -finals. He played the first first group with the second group, the first of the second group with the second group of first, the first group with the second group, and the first fourth group with the second group of third.
The organizing committee allocated financial prizes worth 100 thousand riyals to the owners of the first three places, where the title winner receives 50 thousand riyals, and the runner -up is 30 thousand riyals, while the third place holds 20 thousand riyals.
The tournament witnessed a large public presence, as large numbers of fans flocked since the start of the competitions. The tournament also witnessed the presence of a number of dignitaries and Qatari football stars, as well as club officials and sports federations.
The organizing committee has prepared many surprises for the fans, which enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere of the tournament since its inception on the sixth of March and until the conclusion, which reflects the great success of the tournament, which continues to establish its position as a prominent sporting event in Qatar during the holy month annually.
