“Trend Micro” opens its regional office in Doha

Trend Micro, which specializes in cybersecurity solutions, has opened its new office in Doha to be a regional center for its strategic operations in the North Gulf region.

This comes as part of its efforts to enhance the readiness of government and private institutions in the face of escalating digital threats, and to support the directions of digital transformation in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the digital aspirations of the region.

The opening ceremony of the office was attended by Mr. Sami Al -Shammari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Operations, at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as well as a group of Trend Micro and its strategic partners. During the event, the company also organized the “Inovest” forum for Micro, which brings together a group of experts to discuss the developments of cybersecurity in the region and the latest security strategies and innovations in the sector.
