/ Visit QATAR / her successful participation in the World Travel Market Exhibition – Africa 2025, which was held at the Cape Town International Convention Center in South Africa recently, with the “most innovative wings” award, in appreciation of its remarkable excellence in the exhibition.
A statement of Qatar Tourism confirmed today that the Qatari pavilion witnessed a wide attention from international specialists in the travel sector and the media, where the richness of the Qatari culture, the quality of global hospitality, and the calendar of events throughout the year. The activities presented by the pavilion included photography with augmented reality, which included symbolic animals representing the natural heritage in Qatar, in addition to an interactive suite for Qatar’s calendar that highlights the most prominent events and experiences in the country.
The delegation included nine major partners from the travel and hospitality sectors in Qatar, including Qatar Airways, Qatar, Axpernis Qatar, the Misilat Resort and Spa from Lacterie Collection – Doha, Ali Ben Ali Travel and Tourism Company, the Marsa Kempinski Marski Hotel, the Radisson Blue Doha Hotel, Satjoro Travel and Tourism, and the Tawfiq Hall Company.
The statement pointed to the communication of “Visit QATAR” with the most prominent of those involved in the travel sector in the African continent to promote Qatar as a preferred destination for travel through a series of high -level meetings, to enhance ways of cooperation in priority markets in the region.
