Qatar SC announced that it will hold its preparatory camp for the new season 2024-2025 in the Spanish city of Alicante. The club stated in its statement yesterday that the external camp for the next season will be held from July 10 to 30, as the team began its preparations by training at the club’s stadium under the leadership of coach Youssef Al-Nubi. Despite the approaching date of the Qatari camp, the team has not signed any new players, whether at the professional or local level, especially since the Brazilian Tabata did not renew with the teams, so it seems that the deal failed to continue after the end of his loan from Palmeiras. Therefore, Al-Qatari is still looking for a solution despite the difficulty of the situation, as the Spaniard Javi Martinez left at the end of the season. Accordingly, Youssef Al-Nubi, the team’s coach, is trying hard to complete the King’s deals to be ready before the start of the preparation period and the presence of new players with the team in order to harmonize at the beginning of the preparation period and enter strongly into the new season, which will start on August 9. The same is the case at the level of the local players after Al-Duhail regained Abdullah Al-Ahraq, whose loan to Al-Qatari ended.
Qatar SC finished eighth in the Qatar Football League last season 2023-2024 with 23 points, and also qualified for the Emir Cup final, losing to Al Sadd 1-0 at Education City Stadium.
