Today, the activities of the “Bruges Qatar 2025” exhibition, under the slogan “Innovation and Sustainability: The Road towards Qatar National Vision 2030”, started with the participation of about 200 local and international companies.
This year, which lasts for four days, is witnessing distinctive international posts, the most important of which is the participation of the delegation of the Argentine Bunis Aires Government, as Argentina participates as a guest of honor under the umbrella of the Cultural Years Initiative in Qatar, as well as delegations of men and businesswomen representing about 80 international companies from all over the world.
Commenting on the Argentine participation, His Excellency Mr. Hernan Lombardi, Minister of Economic Development in the government of Beonus Aires, which leads this participation, said: “The participation of the Republic of Argentina comes with a delegation that includes a group of emerging technological companies in search of promising opportunities for cooperation not only in the cultural field, but also in the fields of economics, trade and investment, while strengthening the links that bring together the State of Qatar, Argentina and their two friendly peoples.”

For his part, Mr. Haider Mushaimish, Director General of the International Exhibition Company – Qatar, which is the organizer of the exhibition, said that the current version of the “Bruges Qatar” is witnessing a prominent shift in terms of sectoral diversity, as emerging sectors such as smart manufacturing, sustainable construction and digital innovation in the construction industry are held on a major share of the volume of posts in the framework of seeking to attract foreign investments and experiences to support current projects and the other It is planned, where “Bergtuk Qatar” focuses on enhancing opportunities to hold partnerships between Qatari companies and their international counterparts by holding constructive partnerships with international institutions, attracting exhibitors and visitors from the main markets around the world, and facilitating the conclusion of cooperation agreements and the cross -border projects.
He noted that the composition of the participants in “Brojet Qatar” witnessed a keeping pace with the changes that have occurred in the broader building and economic trends, as the “Bergtute Qatar” exhibition was previously limited to attracting a wide range of industries related to construction and building materials, but it witnessed over the course of 20 years a remarkable development by integrating sectors related to modern technology, sustainable solutions, and smart manufacturing practices, where This year, a specialized exhibition entitled “The Qatar Smart Manufacturing Show” will be held, to present a platform that reviews the latest solutions and techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4ir).
This exhibition directly keeps pace with the national transformational industries ’strategy (2024-2030), which aims to localize manufacturing, enhance self-sufficiency and attract international industrial partnerships, where exhibitors will display their innovations in the fields of automation, robots, artificial intelligence and the Internet of things, smart supply chains, logistical services, sustainable production systems, And digital shift in industrial operations, with the aim of supporting the state’s efforts in developing the local industrial sector and promoting technological content in industrial projects, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
In line with the title of this year’s copy, “Innovation and Sustainability: The Road towards Qatar National Vision 2030”, “Bergtuk Qatar” presents a set of dialogue sessions and workshops that bring more than 70 speakers and experts from the public and private sectors. On the first day, a session will be held in which the Public Works / Modes / Technologies Authority reviews the implementation of its projects, then a session on the applications of building information modeling (BIM) in in the BIM Infrastructure projects in Qatar and the road towards smart cities managed with artificial intelligence, a discussion ring on harnessing artificial intelligence to achieve efficiency and innovation in construction projects, then a special session for the International Labor Organization on the advancement of decent work and sustainability in Qatar.
On the second day, sessions on innovative manufacturing will be held for a sustainable future that deals with headlines such as simplifying supply chains, the revolution in the field of quality control using artificial intelligence -backed vision systems, carbon detention technology in marine industries, the clean thermal revolution in the industry, and others.
The third day of the exhibition is witnessing a special session for the Initiative of Cultural Years Initiative Qatar – Argentina, in which representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Economic Development in the government of the state of Bunis Aires participate, and a set of titles includes artificial intelligence for energy efficiency, satellite intelligence for more secure cities and sustainable infrastructure, sustainable water purification technologies, as well as a special session within the third day program program In cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for UNESCO on the green economy and green skills in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
As for the conclusion of the exhibition on its fourth day, it will be dedicated to supporting young talents from the creators of the next generation through a first session in cooperation with Qatar University through which a group of university students reviews the technological projects they are working on, which include raising the level of air quality monitoring, reshaping artificial intelligence, and depicting the future of packaging, smart waste, and others.
As for the second session, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, it will allow a group of Qatari startups to review their innovations in the fields of institutional technology, simplify real estate and financial operations, and to transform spaces with artificial intelligence, overwhelming technology, and others.
