Qatar Airways has announced the reschens of its flights in the coming weeks, as of Sunday, June 22, 2025, in order to ensure the air linking process and reduce obstacles across its global network.
The national carrier stated through the travel alerts department on its official website that some flights may witness changes, as the departure dates can be at an earlier time than they were originally, noting that these changes aim to preserve the levels of safety, reliability and the flexibility of the global aviation network.
Qatar Airways called on travelers to verify their flight dates and departure times through the Qatarairways.com website or by applying mobile phones before traveling to ensure a smooth travel experience.
The Qatari Airlines also confirmed that the safety of passengers and crew members remain at the top of its priorities, pointing to the adherence to the full international aviation regulations related to the safe plane’s paths.
Qatar Airways had previously announced the suspension of its flights to Iran, Iraq and Syria temporarily due to the current situation in the region.
The affected airports in Iran included: Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA), Mashhad Airport (MHD), and Shiraz Airport (SYZ).
In Iraq, it included: Baghdad Airport (BGW), Erbil Airport (EBL), Basra Airport (BSR), Sulaymaniyah Airport (ISU), Najaf Airport (NJF), and in Syria, Damascus International Airport (DAM).
