Major General Khaled Al-Attiyah participates in the work of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers

His Excellency Major General Khalid bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, President of the Arab Police Sports Federation, participated in the work of the forty-third session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior, which was held yesterday via video communication technology, with the participation of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Excellencies the Ministers of Interior in Arab countries, as well as the League of Arab States, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and high-level Arab security delegations. During the meeting, Their Highnesses, Excellencies and Excellencies discussed various security issues and challenges facing Arab countries, in addition to reviewing recommendations issued by previous conferences and meetings within the scope of the General Secretariat, the results of joint meetings with Arab and international bodies, and ways to enhance security cooperation and coordination between Arab security agencies.
In addition to a number of important topics on the agenda, including: the report of the Secretary-General of the Council on the work of the General Secretariat between the forty-second and forty-third sessions of the Council, the report of the President of the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences on the work of the University between the two sessions, a draft of a second phased plan for the developed Arab strategy to combat terrorism, recommendations issued by the conferences and meetings organized by the General Secretariat between the forty-second (2025) and forty-third (2026) sessions of the Council, and the results of joint meetings with Arab and international bodies, in addition to To a number of other important topics. The session was preceded by a preparatory meeting in which representatives of the interior ministers of member states participated, during which the items on the agenda were studied and the necessary draft resolutions were prepared regarding them, to be presented to the session.
