The “Sneaker Con Doha 2026” exhibition kicked off yesterday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, amid wide participation from international brands, specialized sellers, and fans of sports shoes and street fashion, in the first edition hosted by the State of Qatar of the famous international event known as “the largest sports shoe exhibition in the world.”
The exhibition, which is hosted by the Qatar calendar during the period from May 29 to 31, will be held on an area exceeding 7 thousand square meters, and brings together more than 50 brands and retailers from Qatar, the Gulf countries and the world, specializing in sports shoes, street fashion, accessories, collectibles, and lifestyle products.
The exhibition offers an integrated interactive experience that combines shopping, entertainment and youth culture, through live music performances, DJ performances, hip-hop, break dancing, skating, basketball and graffiti, in addition to specialized discussion sessions reviewing the development of sports shoe culture and street fashion in the Middle East.
The event also includes designated areas for cleaning sports shoes, exchange areas and authenticity verification services, in addition to entertainment shows and activities directed at families and children, which enhances the exhibition’s position as one of the most prominent youth and entertainment events in Doha.
The exhibition includes dialogue sessions in which experts, influencers and specialists in the sports footwear sector from the region and the world participate, to discuss issues related to the culture of sneakers, methods of verifying original products, and opportunities for regional market growth in this rapidly expanding sector. The organization of “Sneaker Con Doha” comes within the framework of Qatar’s efforts to enhance the diversity of cultural and entertainment events and attract international events targeting the youth category, which contributes to supporting the tourism and entertainment movement and consolidating Doha’s position as a regional destination for major events.
