For the second day in a row, the Cultural Village Foundation Katara celebrates Eid Al-Adha through a series of cultural, entertainment and family activities distributed across the Cultural Village facilities and its beach, in an atmosphere that combines joy, the spirit of Eid and cultural identity, to give visitors an integrated experience that extends from popular and entertainment shows to scientific and exploratory trips in the Thuraya Astronomical Dome.
Eid Al Adha activities at Katara are distinguished by their diversity that addresses different ages and interests, as heritage displays juxtapose with scientific experiments and recreational activities in a scene that gives the visitor more than one experience in one place. Between the astronomical shows at the Thuraya Dome, the lively beach atmosphere, and the popular shows that exude the spirit of heritage, visitors find themselves facing a holiday that carries features of culture, fun, and family warmth at the same time, within an atmosphere that Katara carefully organizes to keep its details stuck in the memory.

Along Katara Corniche, the festive activities continued in a joyful family atmosphere, as the Qatari Folk Band presented its traditional performances accompanied by folk songs and rhythms that reflect the authenticity of the Qatari heritage and give visitors an experience full of life and nostalgia. And “Katara Eid”, which draws joy on the faces of children and gives the place a warmer and more joyful spirit, while the evenings become more festive with the military parade that is held daily in two periods at 5:45 pm and 6:45 pm on Katara Corniche, while the sky sparkles daily at 8:30 pm with fireworks displays that transform the waterfront into a captivating light painting, which visitors follow along the beach amidst the sea breezes and the Eid atmosphere.
